Requirements

3B Recycling have a long-standing service plan in place with a leading pet food producer. Throughout this working relationship 3B Recycling have worked collaboratively with site to broaden waste service provision, enabling greater segregation, greater revenue capture and reduced disposal costs.

The site made contact with 3B Recycling when they realised their static waste compactor was coming to end of life, we then performed a site survey and identified the following;

– The old compactor leaked liquids from their waste onto the floor

– Operators were loading the waste into the machine by hand

Solutions

3B Recycling recommended changing this unit for a portable wet waste compactor which is a complete sealed unit and eliminates any leaking liquid.

We also quoted for the new machine to have a wheelie bin tipping mechanism to reduce manual handling and improve on site efficiencies.

We already supplied the site with two vertical mill size balers for waste cardboard and plastic films from production; therefore the customer placed the order for the new portable wet waste compactor as per our recommendations on a 60-month rental agreement.
